ABOUT ME
HI, I'M
Osa Aigbuza
I was born and raised in San Francisco, California after my mom immigrated to the United States from Edo State, Nigeria. My passion for fitness started at a young age, and to fuel it I played several sports through high school including football, basketball and track and field. As I headed off for college, I discovered weightlifting, and decided to pivot my focus from traditional team sports to bodybuilding.
I set ambitious bodybuilding goals for himself but life as a new college student came with distractions. Like so many other students, I knew that socializing in college included partying, and ultimately I found my leading an unhealthy lifestyle. After a year in college, I had gained 30 pounds and that’s when I knew I had to make a change.
While I worked on my degree, I refocused on realizing my goals as a bodybuilder and did my best to limit the unhealthy temptations every college student has. I lost all of the weight I had gained while making serious progress in my physique. At the same time, I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing, and a minor in kinesiology with a concentration in sports business from San Jose State University.
